Saturday, Saturday, Saturday!

This coming Saturday’s Holiday Bazaar will be at Mountain View High School, located at 1500 SE Blairmont Drive, Vancouver, WA, from 9AM to 4PM.  This bazaar supports the MVHS band programs, which are fantastic.  It is also the 2nd largest of the bazaars I do each year, the biggest being Prairie High School (2 weeks later).  In terms of the number of vendors, these two events are actually very similar, but I always think of Prairie HS as the biggest because that’s where I always have the best sales.

The above photo was from last week’s event at Baker Prairie Middle School, but it will be similar this week.  You might notice that there are no traditional (paper) photos on display, except for the calendar.  I’m focusing more on the backlit film prints, including the service side of my business – producing backlit film prints from customer images (on the left side of the display wall).  I had a total of 19 astrophotos displayed on the wall, plus the two battery powered units on the desk.

Of all the events I do in Washington state, MVHS is the closest to the Oregon border, so it’s a great opportunity for our friends all over the Portland area to visit and see all the great astrophotos from Australia.  I hope to see you there!

About Greg Marshall

I am a retired electronics engineer and after a few months of enjoying my leisure I began to miss doing product development. My astronomy hobby always needed new solutions to unique problems, so I decided that whenever I came up with a good solution I would try to make it available to others.
